Change to 'Double Contact' Rule Interpretation

ATTENTION ALL TTGVA MEMBERS:

Please note that as of next round (Round 6 – Monday, 11 May 2026), there will be a change to TTGVA's double contact interpretation. We will be aligning our rulings to match the current FIVB & VSA interpretations which state:

"A double contact will be allowed during a setting action provided the ball remains on the same side of the net. Faults will only be called if there are two clear consecutive touches or if the ball crosses the plane of the net."

Please be patient with referees while we make this adjustment.
